 Erick Schoenhofer
Wichita Giants General Manager/13U Pitching Coach. Erick’s baseball career started as a player at Westurban, and moved on to four years of varsity high school baseball. Erick ended his playing career with three years of college baseball. He has learned the game of baseball from many of Kansas’ top baseball coaches including: Dick Robertson, Mike Gehrer, Rocky Helm, Tom Campa, Val McLean, Darrin Burroughs, and Brent Kemnitz. More than anything Erick wants to be able to give back to his community, and specifically the Wichita baseball community. He will demand nothing but the best from his players while forming lifelong friendships with them as they learn, grow, and move on to bigger and better things. He works as a Senior Quality Manager in a local aerospace company, but what keeps him smiling is the satisfaction of watching the joy shared between players, parents, and coaches when hard work and a solid mental approach pay off in victory. Erick enters his fifth year as a head coach at Westurban. He has three children, Nolan (13) who plays for the Giants, Ty (11), and Nina (6) who is daddy’s princess. |

 Jason Norris
13U Head Coach. Like many coaches in this area Jason’s baseball career began at Westurban. He played there from 6 years old through his high school years. Jason played for Maize High School, Hutchinson Community College, and Kansas Newman College. At Kansas Newman he played under Coach Paul Sanagorski, who has moved on to become a hitting instructor with the Seattle Mariners organization. Jason has coached baseball for over 12 years and has loved every minute of it. He has worked in his family business (Waxene Products) for 22 years. He really enjoys seeing his instruction pay off when players succeed at the plate and in the field. Jason has been married 18 years to his wife LaDonna and has 2 children, Aspen (15) who is a cheerleader and runs cross country and Garrison (13) who plays for the Giants 13U team. |

 Chad Rowell
13U Assistant Head Coach. Chad has played youth baseball in Wichita and played at the high school versity level for 4 years in football, basketball, and baseball. His love for the game took him to college where he played outfield/infield for 2 years. He gave up his final 2 years of eligibility to take care of his ailing father. He has coached little league soccer, baseball, and football. Chad now works for C.U. Direct as an area sales manager . He is married to Michelle and has two step children he considers his own: Koy (13) who plays for the Giants and Kelsi (11) who is involved with Volleyball.
